Jeffrey Stamberger is a San Diego-based writer specializing in cannabis news, culture and events, research and education, and product reviews. Cutting his teeth in the cannabis industry as the founder of the OC Weed Review, Jeffrey has been writing about cannabis for over 5 years and is published in sources like DOPE Magazine and Cashinbis. Jeffrey has written for the Medical Marijuana, Inc. family of companies since April of 2016, creating content for subsidiaries Kannaway®, HempMeds®, HempMeds® Brasil, Dixie Botanicals®, and more.

Jeffrey earned his MFA in poetry from the Southampton College writing program and shapes the voices of future writers as a university-level English and Writing professor in Southern California.

E.I. Hillin is an award-winning journalist and Oklahoma native. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2013 and began her professional reporting career at the Muskogee Phoenix the same year.

During her span of work in print and digital journalism, she has worked for several Oklahoma newspapers as a staff writer and editor. Those publications include: Mustang News, El Reno Tribune, Yukon Review, Bethany Tribune, and the Red Dirt Report.

In 2018 a desire to further her career brought Hillin to northern California, where her dedication to delivering in-depth news on health, government, and cannabis for Sonoma West Publishers gained her three 2018 California Journalism Awards.

Hillin currently lives in San Diego, CA with her wife and works as a freelance content creator. Her passion for and knowledge of the cannabis industry has paved the way for her to continue writing in-depth news articles on cannabis politics, scientific research, and business.


Kim Nunley is a writer and experienced content creator who has been working in the cannabis industry for over six years.

Having studied biology and physiology while earning her degrees in exercise science, she enjoys writing about the ins-and-outs of cannabinoids and their influence over the body’s systems. She specializes in cannabis research and education, and industry news.

Prior to joining Medical Marijuana, Inc., Kim worked as a freelance writer covering exercise science and fitness education. She also worked as a physical education instructor and assistant women’s basketball coach at a California community college, and spent three years working as a personal trainer and physical therapy assistant.

Kim earned her BA in Kinesiology from Chapman University in Orange, California, and her MS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Performance and Sport Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.

Kim is also an award-winning screenwriter and independent filmmaker. In her spare time, she watches films, picks up trash around her Oakland neighborhood, and occasionally gets out to exercise.
